Workshop 4 – Designing the Green Lesson Plan (SDP)
Where pedagogy meets technology to build the future of education 🌱
Big Idea & Objectives
In this session, the teacher acts as a resource manager. The Sustainable Development Pedagogy (SDP) aims not only to protect the environment but also to increase teacher efficiency by focusing on teamwork and fully digital assessment workflows. The ultimate goal is a 100% paperless classroom.
Key Requirements of SDP
- Team-based in-class activities without the need for complex digital tools.
- Homework and performance tasks fully digital and non-printable.
- Teacher workflow (submission, evaluation, feedback) entirely digital.
Lesson Summary
The lesson plan introduces structured prompts guiding AI to design sustainable, paperless, and collaborative learning experiences. It includes five in-class stages (Engage, Explore, Elaborate, Share, Extend/Evaluate), a fully digital performance task, and a green rubric for team-based assessment. This innovative framework reduces teacher workload while promoting ecological responsibility and digital literacy.
